I was driving on Al Wasl road and I stopped when I saw this little but super colourful courtyard on the service road. It was the entrance of O’ de Rose, a rare boutique where all the items are handmade by mostly local or middle-eastern artisans and the style is a kind of modern arabic. Local art is displayed throughout the boutique, that is articulated in different rooms, and you can find a little bit of everything very nicely displayed.
My eye dropped on a beautiful set of three marble tables with an engraved red flower on it, and on some amazing indian ink drawings from a Lebanese jewellery designer and artist.
Apart from the selection of some exceptional pieces of furniture from Middle-Eastern renowned designers such as Nada Debs, there was plenty of great gift ideas, beautiful devil-eye trays, coffee sets, little towels and baskets of any shape and colour, vases.
Absolutely worth a visit!
